Understand what you can do with content from WAVSTOCK.
Sounds & Samples
Sounds and samples downloaded through a free account or subscription plan are provided under a royalty-free license for use in your productions.
You CAN:
- Use sounds and samples in commercial and non-commercial music productions.
- Use them in videos, podcasts, games, and apps.
- Modify, layer, and process them as part of a new composition.
- Release and distribute songs or productions that incorporate these sounds.
You CANNOT:
- Redistribute the original files as standalone sound effects or sample packs.
- Resell or share the raw audio files with others.
- Claim ownership of the original sound or sample.
- Use them in competing audio library or marketplace products.
Music Tracks
Music tracks on WAVSTOCK may be available for free download (with subscription) or individual purchase. License terms depend on how you acquired the track.
Subscription Downloads
Tracks downloaded via a subscription plan may be used in personal and commercial projects (videos, streams, podcasts) with credit to the original artist where possible. They may not be redistributed as standalone music files.
Individual Purchases
Individually purchased tracks grant broader usage rights. Check the specific license attached to each track at the time of purchase.
Beat Licenses
Beats on WAVSTOCK are available under tiered licensing. Each tier grants different usage rights:
Basic License
- MP3 file delivery
- Use in non-commercial projects
- Up to 5,000 streams/plays
- Credit to producer required
- Non-exclusive rights
Premium License
- WAV file delivery
- Commercial use allowed
- Up to 50,000 streams/plays
- Credit to producer required
- Non-exclusive rights
Unlimited License
- WAV + stems delivery
- Unlimited commercial use
- Unlimited streams/plays
- No credit required
- Non-exclusive rights
Exclusive License
- WAV + stems + project file
- Full commercial use
- Unlimited streams/plays
- Beat removed from marketplace
- Exclusive ownership rights
General Terms
- All licenses are perpetual once validly acquired — they do not expire even if you cancel your subscription.
- Licenses are non-transferable and may not be sublicensed to third parties.
- Violation of license terms may result in account termination and legal action.
