Seaport Harbour and river Schelde of Vlissingen in Holland. <a href="https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Vissershaven_vlissingen.jpg" rel="nofollow"><img alt="Vissershaven vlissingen" src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/72/Vissershaven_vlissingen.jpg/512px-Vissershaven_vlissingen.jpg"></a> this recording starts calm and relaxing. More and more seagoing ships and small pilots enter the river and pass on only 100-150 meter. Later the waves come ashore and hit the dike I am sitting on. During the recording the mum of the ships gets louder and fills the whole ambience. Behind me on the dam a large crane is unloaded. This completes the seaport sound-effect. Seagulls and Arctic Tern call. The horn of a ship. Because the waves hit the dike from left to right it gives a nice wide stereo-image. Recorded: Vlissingen along river Schelde.
