Carillon playing: Ave Maria, Schubert. Close (10 meters) recording of the carillon of the st Jan Cathedral in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. <a href="https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Carillon_st_Jan_%27s-Hertogenbosch_04.jpg" rel="nofollow"><img alt="Carillon st Jan 's-Hertogenbosch 04" src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2f/Carillon_st_Jan_%27s-Hertogenbosch_04.jpg/512px-Carillon_st_Jan_%27s-Hertogenbosch_04.jpg"></a> The microphones are on the roof of the cathedral. The big, heavier and louder bells hang about 7 meters from the microphone and small bells about 13 meters. For that reason the balance in the sound recording not very well tuned.
