description Description

This recording was a test of two Lewitt LCT 240 mics set up in an ORTF configuration, using homemade wind protection. Wind protection was imperfect, so there's a little rumble now and then, but not much. Cicadas, birds (crows especially), various vehicles, some children playing in the distance, and at around #5:30 you can hear the music that plays over the neighborhood PA system at five o'clock to remind kids to go home. Recorded with 2x Lewitt LCT 240 mics and a Zoom H6 Essential recorder. NB: I recommend downloading the file to listen, as there's a lot of detail lost to compression otherwise.
