Subject : Recording my friend going by OMAT in his van, for a Surfer like voice pack. Date YMD : 2025 August 06 Location : At “Vue de tout Albi” in a van, Albi 81000 Tarn Occitanie France. Hardware : Tascam FR-AV2 in 32bit 96khz. Shure SM57 with a A2WS windshield. Weather : Sunny and hot, a little windy. Processing : Trimmed, some gain adjustment, tried not to mess too much with it recording to recording. Done in Audacity. Some fade in/out if a one-shot. Notes : Tips : Script : I was gonna be productive today, but then I took a nap and the nap took me, bro. I dunno, man… vibes were weird this morning. Like the universe stubbed its toe or something. What is a chair, really, if not just a floor that hugs you? Money’s fake, but burritos are real, you feel me? Time is just the ocean of the mind, bro… and I totally forgot where I was goin’ with that. Like, if you’re never lost, do you ever really find anything, y’know? Maybe we’re not here to do stuff. Maybe we’re just here to be stuff. Isn’t it weird how your thoughts are, like… you, but also kinda not? Not every wave is meant to be ridden, dude. Some you gotta let pass so you don’t wipe out before the big one. You can't control the ocean, bro — just how you paddle. Maybe it’s just like a wave. It doesn’t care who you are, man. It just is. So drop the ego and ride the flow with respect. What if dreams still existed after you stopped dreaming? I should never sleep again! GIVE ME THE COFFEE To truly love the ocean, you need to accept every wave no matter how big or small, get what I’m sayin? A true friend is like a star, no matter how dark it gets out there, they're always there and always nice to see them.
